Hardware: Intel Pentium 333 Mhz or higher, 64 MB RAM and 200 MB Free Hard Disk Space

3) Is it Multi-User ?

CoreCRM is multi-user enabled. Because it is based on Web-Server technology, Microsoft IE (Internet Explorer V5 or Higher) Web Browser is required to access the software from different computers on the network

5) Do we need to buy any other software to use CoreCRM ?

No. CoreCRM CD is bundled with Sun Java, Microsoft Access Database and Apache Tomcat (Jakarta) Web Server.

The install program looks for the software installed on your computer. If it does not exist, the installer prompts you to answer YES to install the software on your computer.

Yes, the software works with ORACLE Database and Microsoft SQL Server database. However, the customer needs to purchase the database software from Oracle OR Microsoft.

Special installer is required for installing the software with Oracle or SQL Server. Please send a email to support@coresoftware.net for the special installer software.

9) How do we get support ?

Email support is free for 3 Months from the date of Product Purchase . Please send a mail to support@coresoftware.net with your request. We will respond appropriately (either via Email or a Phone Call ) based on the severity of the request.

We usually try to respond to a request within the same business day, however this may not be possible all the time. Our Normal response time is Next Business Day.

Support Hours are 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM E. S. T, Monday - Friday. We are closed on public holidays and Weekends.

You can purchase support after the initial 3 months based on your requirement.

Post Installation FAQ's
1) How to Start / Stop CoreCRM on Windows NT/2000/XP Operating Systems ?
-
As the CoreCRM is installed to be a part of Services run by the Windows NT/2000/XP Operating Systems, after an installation and restart of the computer, the CoreCRM service (Jakarta Tomcat 4.0.4) is started automatically.
-
However, if you want to start/stop the services of CoreCRM on Windows NT/2000/XP Operating Systems, Double-click on the desktop icon named "CoreCRM Control Services"
or
Select Start ->Programs -> CoreCRM ver Win xxxx ->CoreCRM Control Services
A small window opens with 4 buttons on it.

Stop CoreCRM Service - To Stop the CoreCRM Service

Start CoreCRM Service - To Start the CoreCRM Service

Status CoreCRM Service - To know the Status of CoreCRM Service (Stopped / Running)

Exit CoreCRM Service - To Exit this dialog.

2) How to Start / Stop CoreCRM on Windows 9X / ME Operating Systems ?
To start CoreCRM on Windows 9X / ME Operating Systems ,
Select Start ->Programs -> CoreCRM ver xxxx Win ->CoreCRM Start Server
Or Click on the Desktop Icon named

To stop CoreCRM on Windows 9X / ME Operating Systems ,
Select Start ->Programs -> CoreCRM ver xxxx Win ->CoreCRM Stop Server

List of Error Messages and their causes
Login / Password is invalid , Try Again.
- This error message is shown when a user enters a wrong user name / wrong password to log on to CoreCRM.
- Maximum User Limit reached, Please contact the CoreCRM vendor to upgrade your license.
- This error message is shown when a the maximum limit for concurrent/simultaneous users is reached. By default the CoreCRM allows 5 concurrent users.

Installation steps on Windows 98
The following two steps would done assuming that You have installed our
product in C:\ , if you would have chosen other drive change your setting
according to that!!
Step 1
- GO TO C:\
- Open autoexec.bat
- Copy the following two lines in that File
- set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.1_01
- set CATALINA_HOME=C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4
- Save and Close.
Step 2
GO TO following directory and change the properties of the specified files
- C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4\bin\startup.bat
- C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4\bin\shutdown.bat
Properties-->Memory SIZE [Default is Auto]
- Change it to maximum (ie) 4096
- Say Ok and Restart the system.
Once the system is restarted
To Start the server:
Go to the following directory and Double Click on the "startup.bat" shortcut file..
- C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4\bin\startup.bat
To Shutdown the server:
Go to the following directory and Double Click on the "startup.bat" shortcut file..
- C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4\bin\shutdown.bat
General Problem:
Error -- Unable to find remote host error in the browser after installation complete and the request give in the address.
Solution:
Internet Explorer->Tools->connection->Lan Settings->UnCheck Bypass the Proxy Server for local addresses. |

2) How do I remove the trial version of CoreCRM ?
To uninstall our trial version, just follow these steps:
- Go to the start menu, select "programs", then click on "CoreCRM".
- Select "ver Win" then click on "CoreCRM Control Services".
- At this point, you will want to select "Stop CoreCRM services".
- Next, go to Control Panel, and open up Add/Remove programs.
- Choose CoreCRM, and click on "remove"
- At this point, the uninstaller will remove the icons and any related registry entries.
- Finally, remove any folders left behind by the software. The default folder is C:/Jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4/

4) How can I remove the Trial Product ?
- Select Start ->Programs -> CoreCRM ver Win xxxx ->CoreCRM Control services
- Stop CoreCRM Services
- Go to Control Panel/ Add Remove Programs
- Choose CoreCRM
- Click on Remove Button
- Choose to REMOVE
- The uninstaller removes the icons and related registry entries.
- Remove any folders left behind by the Software. Default folder is C:\jakarta-tomcat-4.0.4\
